Itamar Medical and Henry Schein Launch New Sleep Complete Program

Nov 29, 2011 — Henry Schein Inc., the largest provider of health care products and services to office-based practitioners, today announced the launch of its Sleep Complete(TM) program, a new integrated comprehensive solution that provides all of the information and products necessary for the successful implementation of dental sleep medicine into the dental practice. A key component of this package will be Itamar-Medical’s WatchPAT home test device for the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea. The Sleep Complete package will be offered to dentists through a bundled financing package which should significantly lower the financial barrier to entry that often faces dentists interested in incorporating sleep medicine into their practice.

Itamar-Medical was one of the first pioneers to introduce portable sleep diagnostic testing into the area of dental sleep medicine and now continues to the next level with the deployment of Henry Schein’s Sleep Complete program along with Modern Dental Labs (makers of The Moses oral appliance) and Nierman Practice Management (providers of a simplified billing and reimbursement software program).
